Membership of the Authors and Artists Bookshop Terms
To be a Member:
- Membership is available to all Artists, Authors, Photographers, Printers and other Creative and Artistic Persons
- The list would be exhaustive to add here, but we be will monitoring membership applications. I suspect you get the idea!
- Payment of £10 will allow membership for six (6) months if the application is suitable. This membership will be automatically renewed through the secure Paypal system. To unsubscribe you need to contact Authors Bookshop and we will send you a link to the correct page.
- Payment of £25 will allow membership for six (6) months if the application is suitable and will include the set up of a suitable e-mail address for the applicant. You will be contacted for renewal and directed to the subscription page for recurring renewals. Payment of £10 will allow renewal of membership for further six (6) months
- On renewal an application can be made for an email address at the sum of £15. This email address will be available for the duration of the membership. Please contact us directly if you decide to take up an email address offer.
Posting Rules – when that part of the system is available.
- These Rules are really to make sure that you get the BEST use of the site and the best chance of being picked up properly in the search engines.
- To post on the site we expect a few rules to be followed, please:
- Content MUST NOT contain: pornography/adult material, hate or violence-oriented, suggest racial intolerance, advocate against any individual or group, have insulting, obscene, degrading tone, or contain profanity.
- Content MUST NOT contain: Information on illegal material. Again that is a huge range and the site moderators will ban anyone who sends in such material with NO refund.
- Content MUST contain: Well written articles / posts. If poor grammar and punctuation is used the site moderators will NOT allow the item. This is as much for the member’s benefit as the site benefit. Why give a poor impression of your work with poorly written articles / posts?
- The Moderators decision WILL be final, but they are happy to be contacted to try to improve the submission. Members who post unsuitable material will be taken off the site with NO refund.
- It stands to reason that the articles / posts submitted MUST relate to the member’s business / discipline.
